Eco-Mystery Novel THE ROTTING WHALE from Jann Eyrich and Memoir READING JANE from Susannah Kennedy Receive Honorable Mentions in Their Categories

(Grass Valley, CA) – Sibylline Press is thrilled to announce that two of its titles have won recognition at the San Francisco Book Festival, ahead of their release dates.

THE ROTTING WHALE by debut novelist Jann Eyrich earned Honorable Mention in the Fiction category. In this first title of the new eco-mystery genre, Eyrich introduces readers to enigmatic San Francisco building inspector Hugo Sandoval as he works to uncover the mystery behind a blue whale that has washed ashore.

The book releases September 26, 2023, from Sibylline Press with the second in the series, The Blind Key, slated for a March 5, 2024, release.

In READING JANE by Susannah Kennedy, readers go with the writer on her year-long journey of reading through the 45 years of personal diaries her mother, Jane, left in the wake of her death by suicide at age 75. In doing so, the machinations and manipulations of a narcissistic mother are shown, as well as the journey of growth a daughter can follow to finally break free from the control.

The book releases September 5, 2023, from Sibylline Press.
