The Bereaved by Julia Park Tracey was officially released at a launch party held August 8, 2023, at the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains (UUCM). The Bookseller of Grass Valley served as bookstore partner for the well-attended event. Tracey delivered a heartfelt talk about how she wrote the book, and shared a special book-themed cake and historic “funeral biscuits” (a Victorian-era funeral custom) with champagne. Julia also signed books for The Bookseller to feature in-store.
