Julia Event at Lacis

Author Julia Park Tracey Book Signing and Halloween Celebration circa 1859 at Lacis Museum in Berkeley

On Monday, October 30, it’ll be 1859 at Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles in Berkeley. Be prepared to don your Victorian Era garb for this book signing event at the renowned museum for the evening. Perfect for lovers of romantic details and Victorian styles. Julia Park Tracey, author of the new historical fiction, The Bereaved, will appear in costume and give a talk before the book signing. The Bereaved takes place in 1859 and is a book about the Orphan Train and the mothers who were left behind. Julia was able to create her main character through research she did at the museum that informed Martha’s profession as a seamstress in that era. There is no cost to attend but space is limited. RSVP link is available here.
