Join us at the fabulous Sausalito Books by the Bay for a Celebration of Women Authors over 50
Join us as we celebrate older women’s voices at a cherished local bookstore owned by a woman of a certain age. Sibylline Press was recently formed to publish the brilliant work of women writers over 50 who are too often overlooked by the publishing industry. Come hear from two fiction authors published by Sibylline Press this fall, Julia Park Tracey, author of The Bereaved, a story of the Orphan Train and the mothers left behind based on the author’s great great grandfather’s untold story and Jann Eyrich, author of The Hugo Sandoval Eco-Mystery series and creator of the San Francisco building inspector and local hero Hugo Sandoval in his first case, The Rotting Whale. They will be joined by Vicki DeArmon, publisher of Sibylline Press and long-time Bay Area book publishing veteran. The good news is that Sibylline is not alone in appreciating the excellent work of women authors over 50 and the tide is already turning as women authors of a certain age are having break-through books published.
